Hello all
I'm thinking about either adding a 2nd battery or a capacitor to my sound system.
I run 2 amps, 600w and 450w. I have 3 10" subs.
I realize the capacitor would probably be cheaper, but not by much.
I'm just trying to reduce the "dimming" that occurs when the bass really hits. Although it'* not as bad as when I use my ABS (man that sucks the power.. hehe).
I was just wondering if anyone had any pros/cons to list about either solution?
Thanks

Yeah I would go with a cap I know about the dimming I was running 2 Kicker 10'* and also 2 Kicker 12'* and I couldnt see anything at night. then I bought a lightning audio digital cap and my probs went away.. Remember dont touch the post of the cap together with a screw driver it can and will blow up
. My friend had a Cav with a cap in his tronk and he didnt secure it and it rolled over to his fender and like welded itself to it and self destructed his rear end. Be Safe
How do you know if you need a 1/2 farad or a 1farad cap? right now i have (uninstalled) a 600.1 kicker amp and a single 12" jl audio sub. but i plan on selling this amp and sub then investing in TWO 1200.1 kicker amp'* and TWO kicker L715'* (kickers solobaric series 15" subs) what would i need? 1/2 or 1?? Or.....1 for each amp? i just dont know...
