Pure supidity. The area he was in is a 2 lane highway, with little farm houses scattered here and there. Damned lucky the fool didn't kill somebody.....

Looks like if i don't see a cop it'* still not a good idea to speed out of wabasha....I don't think that could ever hold in court because the speed was "estimated." I don't think that you could judge a speed off of a stop watch or watch and get an accurate I dea. Of course ya know 4.39 sec a 1/4 is f*&$in' MOVIN!!! I also don't think the cops could have figured that out right away like it sounds. I dunno, either way that kids not gonna have that bike for long that'* for sure.

I was reading about it...It seemed to say that they were driving then decided to race and somehow got from whatever to 205 in 4secs. Unless they started at 150+ I wanna see pics of that bike!

Also "I had to double-check my watch because in 27 years I'd never seen anything move that fast." What the heck watch does he have that reads 100th of a second?

He has a specially calibrated stop watch that they issue to all "Flying Cops" (air patrol). Seen his on TV and saw one in person once when we had a conference with the local police when I was an MP. Pretty neat toy, but lots of boring training to learn how to use it.

It'll definitely hold up in court.....

I'll go with the latter. Experience would come from actually being licensed to operate a motorcycle, and doing so responsibly... which certainly didn't seem to be the case.
