Keep dreaming Dan. With the trouble they are having trying to resell and package a few others some have had interest in, I think Pontiac has gone to be with it'* brother, Oldsmobile. I am still wondering how Holden is holding up with all this re-organization. Maybe some Pontiac inspired offering in an Aussie import package?

They did. Saturn officially died when Penske withdrew it'* bid for it. Production has halted altogether as of Oct 1st. Dealers will close their doors in Oct 2010/or when current models sell out. Saturn owners will then have the remainder of their warranties covered at any other GM brand. Penske was negotiating for the Renault Group/France as an American Company that wouldn't have such tight restrictions. Renault thought it a good way into the American production scheme where Toyoata and Honda have been succesful, but they got cold feet when the final cash figures tallied up. Saturns dead. The machinery is getting rigirmortis as we speak.
