Did anyone notice the 1/4 mile on the new 300C SRT8 is 13.2ish?
They've got a 6.1L Hemi in those things.....

Um... just realized something... according to C&D, this SRT8 is faster on the 1/4 then our beloved 2005 GTO.

well....question is, how long will the motor and trans last?

Probably a while, seems to be a lot of myth about the strength of their mechanical equipment.

I don't hear about as many Mopar tranny failures vs GM tranny failures, and the Hemi is so old and well established.

I don't know how it is elsewhere.... but there are a TON of new 300'* on the road.
I have to look at each one closely to see if it'* a C or not..... and now... just when I didn't think I had to worry about a "C" anymore..... now I've gotta worry about an "SRT-8" badge...... damn it....

13.2 .... on street tires....... I don't care what it looks like... that'* impressive for a sedan.....

the C hemi'* have dual exhaust. thats the only difference between the 300, the 300 touring, and the C Hemi. popularity in my area is freakin ridiculous. seen a few with 20"* and wow, heck of a looking car

Almost E55 power, I would like to see an SRT-8 go up against an E55...same chassis

that would be cannibalism too, wouldnt it?
