As far as American autos go, the only nameplates that were out continuously from 57 till now are the Bonneville and F150. Somebody check me on this.
The Corvette skipped '83.

I believe the Bonneville skipped some years too. Twice, once in the 70'* and once in the 80'*.

Hey, they change everything eventually. If bell bottoms and **** carpet made a comeback, I'm sure the Bonneville will too. I only hope it isn't lame. I hate what they did the Impala SS.

I am glad there'* a new Goat, but I wouldn't buy one. It just doesn't do it for me.

The new Grand Prix is hot, but nothing like the '76 LJ I had. Things keep changing. Maybe they think that if the public is given enough time to grow nostolgic, the sales will improve when they reintroduce it.

Try to keep in mind the crushing competition out there. They can't just spit these cars out off of the assembly lines and expect people to buy them anymore. They need to innovate, which is going to have as many bad ideas as good ones show up.

there was no 83 Model year vette. The 84 came out with the new body style (C4) and 82 was the (C3). you still could but a 82 Vette in Few 83 brand new
