For 500 bucks more and gas mileage that still avoids the gas guzzler tax (6spd), darn right I want an '05 GTO. Whoever said the Mustang is a good looking car...I agree, I especially like the front of the cars, because thats what I usually see in my rearview mirror. Point? If Ford wants to make decent power (n/a) with the 4.6 rat engine they use...well, they can't. "There is no replacement for displacement." With many sports cars over 350hp today, the '05 Mustang leaves somthing to be desired.
Not to mention that the GTO is a better car, all the way around. Those new Mustangs don't even have posi-trac, I believe, from my understanding they are all one-wheel-wonders.

I agree, the mustang will beat the little FWD coupes, but thats about it.

It runs 13'* in the 1/4. It'* very competitive with some higher HP cars.

That'* a bit of a given, considering the production numbers of the GTO. Because it'* not built here, and a whole bunch of other legal red tape, it'* limited to like 17,000 units per year?
