Do you guys think mitsubishi paid to have their cars featured in the film?

Notice how the mitsu * have no modifications and have their in-house tuner in big letters on it- RalliArt. But the other two have nothing like that, not even a small ricer sticker of mugen for honda ad nismo for nissan, but they actually have tuning

Another point- no ricers really like the new eclipse. From what ive read, the ricing community desnt care much for it. It'* too much of a Grand Tourer, not much of a drag strip terror like the previous gen. So, i dont get why it is a star of the movie- except if what i sid before is true

Yea and if you throw a 150 shot of nitrous and some stickies on the skyline will go into the low 10'* high 9'*. You can sit here and think of a whole bunch of different domestics and import combos and what you can do to make thjem go fast, but who cares. All these cars are just for show really. Thats how they were picked from shows that they threw. They arent going to pick a sleeper cars cuz those are boring and nobody wants to see that. People wanna see flashy cars, and what are ugly to some others might like. But when there is domestic rice no one tends to make fun of it as much as. Plus if it wasnt for the ricers that everyone loves to hate, they would be getting killed instead of doin the killing.

the new eclipse they hate is because it doesn't have a turbo only a v6. and mitsu paid a boat load of money for there cars to be in it.

the bigger v6 is gonna have a smoother power delievery than the turbo'd 2 litre and they left it in only fwd, not awd. It also makes it more difficult to get more power. It'* probably heavier too, but im too lazy to look at figures

from sport compact car about honda civic si (it does relate)
"like the mitsubishi eclipse, the new honda civic si has gone in search of different buyers"

im just trying to back up my point, but you are right too.

what these movies need are some crazy cars like:

Hot Dog Car

92 Ford AeroStar

Ice Cream Truck

UPS Truck

These are all fast exotic automobiles that could be used in Need For Speed 3

OK.. typical Rice.. all show and no go. Watever happened to wat Vin Diesel said in the first movie. "If it'* not a 10 second car.." umm.. none of them comes close. And having the power band @ 7000+ RPm and most of them to 8500 rpm.. umm.. yea.. 1000 RPM power band.. that'* crap.. by the time they get up to that RPM.. I"m already down to the next light.. not to mention the amount of quick shiftin that'* required.. a missed shift and the race is over for such a small power band. Not to mention the amount of abuse those engine takes at that high RPM'*.. how long do you think the engine would last? They are flashy alright.. they'll also be flashies from the cops that gives them a ticket behind them as our sleepers blows by pointin and laughin.

They should have renamed the movie..

2 SLOW .. 2 CURIOUS
