Just a movie guys, Chill!
No one ever complains about how fake any other movies are, Just take the matrix for example...sooo many computerized action scenes and impossible moves etc.
Im not trying to start an argument or anything but seriously, the movie isnt even out yet and soooooo many people are already bitching about it, come on!
You guys should be happy they are making films of the things that we enjoy most, Cars and racing, crappy acting and all. im just tired of seeing people complain about this, almost every wesite i frequently visit on the internet has a topic about it, it gets old and annoying. yes i know i wasnt forced to read this thread, but i wanted to get this off of my chest.
Now tell me, Honestly...if the same directors were to make a movie filled with bonnevilles and other GM cars racing and looking all nice on the big screen, would you guys complain about it then? i really dont think so....
Sorry, dont mean to **** anybody off or anything, its just my $.02

I would. The director is a complete nitwit.

I dont care for these movies, but what I dont like is the attitude they pass to teenie boppers. These 16-18 year old kids take on these "bad ***" attitudes like they are better than everyone else, just like the movie. Take a look at the chick who drives the pink S2000, she looks like shes having constant PMS and is not having a satisfactory sex life. Its sad that such a movie has a direct effect on kids.

There is still a majority of nice and respectful ricers out there that are easy to get along with...but they are over 21! Maybe its a maturity thing.

I know a few 16 year old ricers that arnt too cocky or flashy with their cars. It is funny tho to see the guy trying to look hard when his body kit is on his car but it hasnt been painted to match his paint yet.

Here are my 2 cents...

The cars look interesting (do not read "cool", but more like works of art), and they have quite a bit of power for being practically miniature.
[silly post script...When I first typed this, I accidentally typed "woks' instead of "works"...just a little irony there :P ]

The thing I hate is the attitude. They don't belong on the street, making a$$es of themselves; they belong on a track. My opinion, the guys that tweak these puppies should get together and hold races, charge admission, and make a killing showing off (and no one will think they're dopes). I'd pay to see that.

Oh, and as for those particular cars...I like the styling of the Nissan, the next two are pretty lame, and the pink one is the ugliest piece of crap I've ever seen! (you'd think the girl'* would be more attractive...yuck!)

Thats something that caught my attention too. A saleen mustang would kill any of those other imports (skyline I'm not sure). If the mustang was modded to the point of those other cars.....wow!

I'm surprised at an other thing, two of those cars are convertables, which have a lot less rigidity due to those folding mechanisms. I have no problem with imports, but lets see some cars from places other than Japan.

The saleen was a newer gt with a saleen kit on it. I don't think saleen would appreciate a limited production car being torn to hell. Also with a mustang having the money that the ricers have in them just in the body kit, hood, wing, tails, and headlights....the mustang can have a vortech * trim */c under the hood, and a 175 shot of nitrous, also maybe some trick flow heads and systemax intake and throttle body kit. Thats a 10 second combo with some sticky tires and suspension. Stupid imports!
