I'm not sure why you think this.

RWD cars have a huge advantage over FWD cars when launching because of weight transfer. If anything he would launch better than you, and you would have to make up the difference once you got rolling off the line.
true, if you know how to drive but a lot of people do not and punch it too quick. lets assume that is the case.
Kind of a lot of assumptions:

assume he has old lazy sensors
assume he doesn't know how to drive
assume he can't launch

Yes, if you get lucky enough to have all these things be gospel you are good to go

3500lb grandma car with 200lb man - 3700lbs vs 3100lb 2 door with 300lb man = 3400lbs

I knew this would be a fun thread.

if the corvette runs a 14.8 quarter mile according to specs, and he has a bad launch or the car is far from being tuned up and runs a 15.5 or something I think I have a chance.

I think it would be a failry close race, nobody would get too owned

Trust me, you'll lose. My dad used to have a 1994 (now has a 2000) and I actually raced him one day and just got absolutely demolished. Granted, my dad is a very good driver, especially with fast cars, but you will lose.
