I'd rather have a CTS-V ... the STS just looks like a bigger and uglier version of the CTS. I'm sure the LS2 400hp would keep me happy

That is a STS-V with 469hp. It does perform weaker than I would expect though. The E55 AMG also has 469hp but runs the quarter in a whole second faster than the STS-V. Mid low 12s vs. mid low 13s for the STS-V. The torque of the the E55 (514) vs. the STS-V (439) is likely the reason but you'd think with 469hp the STS-V would trap higher than 106mph.
13.3 sec with a 2.0 60 foot time is not that fast. He should be a mid-low 12 sec car with that kind of power. :?
Who wants to bet that the PCM was pulling timing big time torque management.

Pardon my ignorance, but is that a Corvette with Caddie sheet metal? I like that over a vette. And whats all that horsepower without a HUD?

They are both wonderful cars, I've been in both. I wasn't to crazy about the fake (was it fake?) wood trim in the STS. Someone need to pulley one of those babies down, I sure you could get some more power outta that just like my SSEi

I test drove a 06 STS-V and still chose my BMW 745i over it.
