QR25DE engines with Cali spec now make 170HP/175TQ vs. 175HP/180TQ. The VQ35DE engine now makes 250HP/249TQ and I'm sure the other Maxima owner on this site will agree that the TQ rating from Nissan is pure B.*. There is now a 3.5SL model so you don't have to suffer with the stiffer suspension on the 3.5SE. Nissan listened to consumers and critics and the interior is upgraded substantially. Link below for some pics. The automatic transmission on the 3.5 models is now a 5speed manumatic from the Maxima SE.

always liked the alti'* more than the maxiima'*, now i like em even more

Nissan reached perfection IMO with the 20th Anniversary Maxima...this Altima just looks out of proportion. :?

But...what do I know

she'* purrty, but i'd MUCH rather stay domestic ..and in reality, i'd be much happier. nice car.. but NO thanks
