$1,000,000.00 processor!
Heh, I was caught off guard by you all talking about computers... I'm always prepared to be a closet geek when I'm on a car forum, but now I guess when I talk about gigglehurts and gobblebites I won't be chastised :P
I actually just went out at the beginning of the month and got myself a G27 racing wheel. I keep my real driving habits sane and granny like now, and tear up the virtual world. I've been wanting a proper wheel since I first saw the G25'* come out years ago.
Just mentioning that because I was reminded of how input devices have changed since the earlier posting of that "$2000 modest" setup from that old magazine where a simple joystick is pictured. I know guys out there building whole car cockpits, and flight decks! Can't say I'm not tempted to for my driving games... haha.
I also run a server on an old Mac Mini PPC, it'* running good old Debian. Hrm... maybe I shouldn't say I have Mac'*! My main system is a monster PC though, powered by an AMD chip, it does what I want it to do, so I'm happy.
