i got a program that fixes reg problems automatically. maybe you can get a free demo, or a free version from downloads.com stupid thing actually works too

Try system restore first. That'll get rid of any bad reg entries.

Ouch, so maybe I give out bad advice (wouldn't be the first time). It worked for me when trying to root out a virus once but I was actually a bit careful with it (although, now that makes me think that might be where my Rio software went...hmmm....).
