Default Replacing 3.8

Hey ya'll. I have a 98 Camero with the stock 3.8 with only 77 thousands miles on it, but the motor is hammer nocking and such. I have found an early 90'* bonivil with a super charger. I know I would need to strip the motor bare and trade every bracket
now is this a realistic concept

I don't believe it is a simple drop in swap.

Series 1 SC (91-95) is a completely different animal from Series 2 (95-05). Even then, I believe the RWD block is different from the FWD block in the areas of starter mountings and such.

If you are simply looking to get the car back on the road, a used motor or full rebuild would be the way to go most likely.

If you are looking to go fast, supercharging with even series 2 parts requires fabrication, and specific parts. There are other ways to go too.

So, in answer to your question, possible? With enough fabrication, maybe. Realistic? Probably not.
