73 yr old g;father of 9. OWN MT THIRD CHEVY ASTRO ,
,POWER DOOR LOCKS ACTICATE/CHATTER AS I DRIVE.....ANYBODY KNOW WHY?

Perhaps one of the 9 grandchildren is bumping the window switch.

Are all doors activating, or just one in particular? One thing you might try is pulling the battery from the remote (if you have remote locks) in case the button on the remote is stuck down.

2kg4u.......thanks for reply. recently determined that contacts on sliding door are breaking contact as body "flexes" on turns or bumps, etc.....will examine further soon.....pophooton

The contacts have likely become flattened due to use over time. If you gently pry them up a little you will get back the pre-load that keeps them in contact.
