Default a newbie... just got a `92 SSEi...

I know I need to read to forums for more info, but I wanted to post here before I wade in...

I love my new `92 SSEi, but it needs some work... it has some minor damage to the lower right rear bumper (exhaust collar is missing) and some plastic is poking me in my right side, `cause the leather seat is worn... also, the automatic antenna isn't working, but I have a `93 Olds that I think I can get a working one from...

what I really need is a good shop manual and an original Pontiac manual that came with the car... (I'm an electrical guy, but not very mechanical...) this info is probably posted somewhere else, but if someone could direct me to it, I would appreciate it...

thanks...

Welcome to the club

Here is a link to the Owners Manuals
http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...asc&highlight=

Also check out www.gmpartsdirect.com for replacement body parts, they might have something. Good luck and enjoy the car

Also check with DeathRat, aka Mighty Mouse(he always saves the day), for some special info on the 92.

I can get you the part numbers for the exhuast tip trim when I get home later tonight. It might be posted here somewhere already. They come in pairs, and if memory serves, they're about $30 a pair.

For the seat problem, I'd suggest either a seat from a wrecker, or 2 pairs of pants.

I think I'm going to stop by an upholstry shop and see if they can do an overlay on the seat that wouldn't look Kmart / Walmart-ish... it'* very comfortable and I like all those buttons...
