Hi all,
Probably been seeing my posts for a couple weeks now. Trying to contribute as well as soaking up every bit of information I can.
Deal is found a 95 SSEi for a good price. Need a runner car to and from work/errands. Figured Bonnie is a nice fully loaded car for me. CFoote is a local here and a buddy...who said...these are great cars with tons of options.
Bought it from the mid 50'* couple, was the wifes car. She whacked the garage with the mirrors, d/* was full of silicone to keep it adjusted for her. (More than a couple implants!!, got pics to prove it) Emblem was falling off front. Still haven't put back on yet. Oil, Water and Boost gauges are moving crazy...saw the tech article (pulled once..need to pull again). Front exhaust manifold is cracked. (Found mirror and manifold at jy for $75) Buttons on wheel for radio aren't working well...saw the tech article.. Got an exhaust surround from Harofreak, one was missing. All the toys work nice, TC is giving me a headache lately...And the catalytic is shot..but being replaced within the week.
Biggest fix I've found is pulling connectors apart and reseat them.
