Default New Western, NY Bonny SE owner

New to the site, just picked up a '97 Bonney SE in Norfolk, Virginia. 75k, leather, moonroof, chome wheels. I think it is the Sport Luxury edition? 1 owner, spent its time in Annapolis Maryland. I had the coolant, oil, tranny, and brake fluids changed at a Firestone in Norfolk and the fuel injection and fuel filter changed as well, just so there weren't any surprises on the 500 mile trip back home. Ran like a top. I bought it for a daily driver/winter ride.

Welcome aboard! The car has low mileage for the year! Can't wait to see some pictures.

Welcome to BC!

Is that an SE or an SLE? Either way, '97 was a good vintage. Full-flavored with a hint of toast and leather, with a smooth punch at the beginning and a clean finish...

The car says SE, but it has leather, both powered, electronic ventilation system, tire pump in the trunk, CD with equilizer, moonroof, and a bunch of other options. It is silvery gold sand in color. The 97 Bonneville brochure that came with the car calls it Taupe. It was owned by an older gal and she wrote extensive diary like notes in the owners manual and accurate service records. Even wrote down the name of the guy who serviced the car. She wrote her phone # in the manual. I think I'll call her. It has a build date of 7/96 on the door sticker, but she didn't purchase it new until 5-30-97. Wonder if it sat on the lot for that long. I am in the Chautauqua Lake area.

Ahh Chautauqua (bag tied in the middle - indian word referring to the shape of the lake- or so I'm told) Nice new jail too. Glad to have you join.

Welcome to the club. I hope to meet you at NEBF next year.

Oh and watch out for a lady named Tracy. She is a bad bad influence.
