My first post, but i have already picked up enough tips and info to make my head spin...How did I ever fix my car before the internet was around??

Thanks! I seem to have met Lash already. He emailed me some advice on the UIM/LIM job I am going to tackle this weekend. I have had that car since 01 and the only things ( with the noted exception of a tranny) that i have replaced is a tensioner and a water pump. Very reliable. My coolant bypass elbow is squirting coolant at me when i rev the motor under the hood..so i figured i might as well do the UIM LIM job while i am in there. I am wondering though, if this was a dealer recall item and if so maybe someone already did this job before i bought the car..

I'm betting you have an SLE. Check the spare tire cover for H4U code.
