my name is Steve and i live in Germany.
I own a Chevy Silverado 1500 with a Nordstar (not Northstar) camper.

Cause the service in Germany is a little poor, i do all the maintenances
by myself and sometimes i need special information.
I found this board via google as i searched for the meaning and the cause
and the solution about P0171 and P0174.
My car has it since the day before yesterday.
Here i've got some information and i will try to check it soon...

Sounds like you may have a vacuum leak somewhere, I'd inspect all of your vacuum hoses for deterioration, also remove your MAF and give it a clean with some MAF Cleaner.
If you find no vacuum leaks, and you clean the MAF, if you have a scantool clear the codes and see if they come back.
If the codes come back you may have a leak around your intake manifold gaskets, while the car is running carefully spray some carb cleaner around the intake manifold gasket, if you hear any fluctuation in idle while you are doing this, then you have found your leak.

Another thing to is verify your fuel pressure, your fuel filter may be clogged and slowing down the flow.
If all else checks out then you may want to have a shop run a smoke test on it to check for leaks you may have missed.
You could try to smoke it yourself with a nice big cigar, but it would be easier to have a shop run a smoke test on it.

Oh yeah, one other thing, remove your PCV Valve, and give it a shake, if you hear a rattling sound it is good, if it makes no sound at all when you shake it, then replace it.

Nordstar is a manufacturer from sweden. They're building campers for all
kind of pickups.

We have a cabin similar to the "Camp Flex". Its a little to short for the Silverado, but it works

Very nice, I looked over some of the models they make. I think one day I would like to have a camper box set up on a pick up as well.

welcome to the site. you may want to consider air bags to level the truck, shes sitting pretty low. being level really helps handling and being able to see at night. i got these air lift ones to level out my yukon when towing my camper. the best part is you can let most of the air out and keep the good 1500 ride when empty

this is the plan. Meanwhile i have mounted an Add a leaf, but its not that what i've hoped for. In our old truck we've had Air Ride like this:

It was the perfect system! But i hoped, i could get it cheaper

In the states you are lucky, that you can mount it and drive.
In Germany we have an Institution that is called TÜV.
Every changing of the technical configuration must be registered in the car papers. You must have an technical expertise of the manufacturer of the part you like to mount. So a lot of products get very expensive.
Perhaps i'll do it next month...

Reffering to the conversation about P0171:
The dealer who mounted the LPG equipment, said, that the error could come from there. No reason to worry about it. Meanwhile the MIL is off...
