Ok so it'* a stupid Handle, I couldn't think of anything else at the time!
I have a 94SSE, the body and interior is cherry, I took great care of the car. Then the wife wanted it and I finally let her have it at about 90,000 miles. Needless to say, at 100, K the motor thru a rod. Coolant had leaked into the motor and wrecked havoc. Damn! I have a new crate motor on order from goodwrench. I'm in the process of checking out some other engine mods now, any ideas would be appreciated. Hopefully when it'* complete it will have some sizzle, at least more than it had before! I still love the car, and can't part w/ it,..AND MY WIFE AIN'T TOUCHING IT! ( j/k dear!)
Anyway that'* my story, and hi all!

Welcome to another Ohio member, we have quite a few now.
Glad to hear you made the decision to get a new engine for your 94. Have a look around here and see what is possible for your L27 engine

Posts like a Ricer Type-R
DrJay has a performance rebuild novel running in Performance and Brainstorming. Jeffrey10x2 would be another person to talk to. Both of these guys have Series 1 L67'* (supercharged) but there are some similarites. Allmachtige has a pretty quick 94 SSE, as well.
Welcome!

Now were talking! While I'm at it, not sure were to mention this since I'm just learning the ropes here,..but the new crate motor I ordered is actually a gen 2 95-99, not the gen 1 92 to 94 motor. Please tell me that'* a good thing! I CAN'T HANDLE BAD NEWS RIGHT NOW, not enuff bud light!

Also,..The mechanic that'* doing the work is very reputable, and he said that it will work, and I wanted the gen 2 if I had a choice in the matter. He really wanted me to go w/ the more compatable, but he just wants it to run good. I want it to run freaking great.Plus the gen 2 has more aftermarket assesories to play with. DID I DO GOOD?
