Default new here

new here to the forum I have a 2000 SEI stock. I got no major plans to mod mine other then changing the mufflers out they are too quiet. Got the car from a friend has 186,000 on it now and going strong. Has been a great car the last year I owned it!

:Welcome

I believe you have two mufflers on your car. A flowmaster or magnaflow series40 will give you a good sound.

yeah it does have two on but can I use a single inlet to a dual outlet inplace of the duel mufflers? Or will that cause problems?

Welcome to the Bonneville Forum!

Glasspacks will be too annoying. Here'* my 2000 on Magnaflows and a Hi-Flow Goerlich cat. Magna Flow Mufflers and Hi-Flow Cat on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

Everything you do that changes the air flow will effect the sound. Cam or rockers change it, headers sound different from stock manifolds, different cats effect it as well. Each change I made caused the tone to go deeper. It sounded OK with just a new muffler, but teh cat deepened it, the headers really made it deep.
