hello everyone!! just wanted to stop in after i registered. i just bought my first bonneville. it'* a 2005 GXP and i am almost in love after having it only a week. i've always liked the bonneville line and was fortunate enough to have my last car(2002 chevy impala) totaled in an auto accident. when i saw this car, and engine, i was sold!! already have my radar detector and sirius installed. now i just have to get my orion 12 inch subs into the trunk and take a look around here to see what else i can do, as well as what everyone else is doing!! i'll be seeing you guys around!!

i as well got my car because my car was in a accident. but i was not so lucky to have her totaled. she was bad luck with recks. Damn red cars.

my car is silver. still haven't gotten to take any pictures yet, damn new york weather!! i will get them taken and up here soon.does anybody know anybody, or does anybody tow a trailer with their GXP?? the book says not to tow with the 4.6 V8 and i have a trailer i pull for camping and to pull my quad.

what book? the car manual?

yea, the manual. under the trailer towing section, there is one line for the 4.6 V8. it says "do not tow a trailer with the 4.6 liter V8 engine". thats it, one sentance, then goes to the next catagory which is towing with the V6. i talked to my dealer and they said there should be no problems, but i think i still want that in writting or even have them install it!!

Install an extra transmission cooler to be safe if towing is what you're gonna be doing. Seeing a trailer hitch on such a nice car...I dunno....

Hey dude, thats awesome. I totalled out my 02 envoy a few weeks back also. I guess thats not the awesome part, but the 04 Black GXP I bought is. they are fun.
