Hey all, I have a few friends with SSEIs (I know, lucky) and I'm looking to join in on this madness. I currently have a Nissan 200SX SE (5 speed) but I'm trying to get a hold of an SSEi or maybe a really nice SLE/SSE. By the way, my screen name is NOT a reference to the Chicago Bears, it'* just a nickname.

Check around on craigs list in the chicago and Milwaukee area. If you find one, aks us what we think and we will let you know what to watch for.

I think this may be a first. New member without a Bonneville?! WE NEED TO HELP HIM OUT EVERYBODY!

I've definitely seen some stuff that I like on Autotrader but it will probably be at least a month before i can make a move on anything...I have expensive tastes lol. I really want a 00-04 SSEi, but I think I could also do a 90s SSEi as well if it was nice...

I knew you'd be showing up here when you asked me about that last SSEi how many months ago. I've been keeping my eye out for any ssei'* for sale that look like decent vehicles, I'd like to see you with your own!

I'm actually located in Dixon, IL.... About 30 min west of Rochelle. I'm going to be moving to Chicago in July though.

The 2000+ is a better car, but a bit harder to work on things because of the lack of space. The 97-99 has a bit more room. The 2000+ has it'* problems, just like the 97-99. Each version is different, so when you find one let us know.

If you can, try and get 96 and newer. Intense specializes in performance parts for our cars, but they don't do much with PCM'* 95 and older.
