Hi DMFWallace,

Welcome to the forum.

Not sure, but my first thought would be the timing... possibly the timing belt. Try putting a timing light on it and check. Hope that helps.

Hi Dave!

Welcome to the Bonneville Forum.

Please add your year and trim of your vehicle to your signature line. That way when you start asking questions in other areas of the forum, we all have a better idea on how to assist you. Click on "Quick Links" above, go down to "User Control Panel" and then click on "Edit your Signature" It'* pretty straight forward from there.

In the future If you could please post your problem in the correct forum, we can keep better tabs on working your problem towards a solution. I've copied your post and paste it with edits in the 1992-1999 section. Please keep tabs over there on answers.
