'96 owner from Illinois
Greetings:
I'm the owner of a 1996 SE, and am on my third Bonneville. I still like this car'* combination of large size, decent handling, surprisingly good gas mileage, and overall great value- but I'm not telling you all anything you don't already know!
I've noticed that this generation Bonneville seems to have better body integrity than the earlier ones- corrosion killed them long before the 3.8 motor was ready to quit. With higher mileage cars like mine, forums like this one are invaluable for trouble shooting the inevitable maintenance issues and learning which way to head for fixes. You all have already been very helpful and I'm much appreciative- I'll try to chime in when I can contribute solutions/advice to other'* problems I've already been through.

Welcome to the Bonneville Forum Alex. We can always use the voice of experience from our members who have "been there, done that" with their Bonnevilles. I'm glad you found us, and glad you took the time to say hello.
Any repairs, mods, etc. in the near future?

bs2 We welcome you to the forum. My mom had a 90 Bonneville that wouldn't quit. Being a southern car it would have lasted alot longer than it did. The body style you have is a stout car. At 117k it'* only getting started. Do you have any plans for future mods?
