Default New Bonnie owner in TX

I just put a deposit on a 1997 SE, I will be picking her up on Monday. I'm swapping my 2001 Stratus R/T for it. The 2 door coupe doesn't work so well anymore with 2 kids...

I'm glad to have found this site! What kind of mods shold I be looking at to start?

Welcome! That'* a pretty good trade you made there.
If you're looking to modify, you should start by reading this:
http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...e=article&k=38
Basically, the upper intake can crack and flood the motor with coolant. The fix is relatively cheap and simple to install. Other than that, try a 180* thermostat, some sort of intake(INTENSE'* fenderwell intake is popular here.
There'* a ton of stuff out there for the Series 2, best place to start is www.intense-racing.com

Welcome to the club!
You'll get used to the 4 door thing. You get a short break (if you're lucky) when the grow up and get their own cars but soon enough you'll need a 4 door again to haul the grandkids around in.

Trust me, I know.
Those are my two right
<----------- There!
