New Bonnie and her Owner have a date with a Diamante
Hi everyone! Proud (soon to be) owner of a 1992 SE! I pick it up tomorrow from West Pal Beach. The car has less than 32,000 on the odo with one previous owner who happened to be a little old lady who only drove it to the grocery store and back! It'* got a new alternator and battery (they weren't even bad - the lady'* son just decided to replace them!), new tires, AC service, etc. The only thing wrong with it is the power antenna mast! I'm getting it really, REALLY cheap too.
In case anyone cares, this is a big step up for me, since I'm currently the also proud owner of a 1966 VW Beetle in great shape as well. It'* a nice car, just a bit uncomfortable when you drive about 100 miles a day.
However, once I do have this car, my 3.8L has an unfriendly date with my best friend'* 3.0L Mitsubishi Diamante. The Bonnie should smoke him, shouldn't it? I hope so, because he need to get taken down a peg anyway.
Here'* some pics:
What does everyone think? Do I even want to know?

Welcome to the club! Have fun with the rice
Take some time to read about the EGR-less 92'* in the 1992-1999 mechanical and maintenance forum! Those low miles will be PERFECT for preventing any later damage!

Nice! I have a soft spot for the silver Bonnies...
What is it with old people and Bonnies? Old people should stick to their Buicks and their stinkin' lincolns. Oh well, at least they take decent care of them.

That car is in beautiful shape!!! I envy people down in the states for that. We have to use so much salt on the roads in the winter, it is hell on body and paint. Congrats on the purchase.
