Default New Bonneville Owner

Greetings to all. Just this past Tuesday, I became a Bonneville owner. I have been driving a 95 Grand Prix since 2000, but it was totaled in a recent hail storm. I have always liked the Bonneville, and I found one at a local used car dealer and fell in love with it immediately and bought it. It is a '97 SSE, Medium/Dark Teal Metalic, that seems to change colors depending on the light. It is loaded. I have never had a car so loaded. And I don't ever want one again that isn't this loaded. It is great. Anyway, I love the Bonneville. It looks great. And really, unless you know a lot about cars, the styling is so up to date and modern, it looks like a new car. I found this forum just looking for info on the Bonneville, and thought it would be a great place to hang.

Thanks

Gary

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.

I am new to the Bonneville scene, but I will say, I have never loved a car as much as I do my 97 Bonne SSE. I have always admired them before, but when my 95 Grand Prix got totalled by hail, I knew I wanted a Bonne. And I found one that was just perfect. 97 with only 58,000 miles. However, the engine is brand new. It is a factory engine that came out of a 2003 LeSabre with only 3,000 miles. Same exact engine, but new and no miles. And the rest of the car looks almost showroom new. About 97 out of 100 in my opinion. And it is fully loaded. I have never had a car so loaded. Leather seats, electronic Climate control AC, HUD, Bose 8 speaker equalizer system, electronic compass, driver information center, sun/moon roof...all the bells and whistles. And a tire inflation system in the trunk. Never seen that one before. I just want to drive all the time now.

NICE You're not the only one who wants to drive all the time, I've put nearly 15k miles on mine since I got her less than a year ago...

And there are many others that drive more than me. These cars are ADDICTING. Comfortable seats, power EVERYTHING, power under the hood, and they HUG curves.

No member of this club will EVER settle for anything less than a Bonnie ever again, I'll bet you

Welcome to the club! Christine is right. I won't settle for anything other than a bonneville that is why I have 2. I love everything it has and the performance is awesome. They are excellent cruising cars.
