Howdy all ..
Name is jim,I am a single dad of 2 girls and living in st.paul w/ my 93 SSE ....whom I love like a kid ...
Came here looking for some parts and a little help w/ my car as my health and other factors have left me unable to actually get under the hood and work on it like I used to do,which sucks by the way,I so miss working / modifying my cars.
If anyone around downtown st.paul or the cities for that matter can do some minor work such as tuneups and like now I have a broken side mirror from a vandal and I think my wiper motor arms are bent / jammed but cannot get in there to remove stuff to see and I am not looking for a freebe or handout just some honest help with out breaking my wimpy wallet ( putting 2 kids through college now ) ...yikes ....
But I am also pretty handy with the PC from being stuck at home most of the time so I can help out with repairs,upgrades and can build you a rig if wanted with out the outrageous geeksquad price and ignorance...the only thing I have not done or worked with is water cooled systems...
But anyways that'* me in a nutshell so if you have questions or need help let me know,most times it is something simple...

I dont need any hardware solutions right now but I sure wish I could get somebody to tell me in stepped easy language how to make my XP laptop share files and printer, with my Vista desktop.

Heya Baba,
Sorry I'm Canadian, and not much of a mechanic. GXP to make vista and XP fight nice you have to download a file from Microsoft update. You need a genuine copy of XP for this to work. After that networking is done pretty much the same as XP. Sorry to get off topic
