Default hey guys new to the forums and the car

hello, i just got a 95 bonneville SE for free its pretty good i guess. but one problem i got is i accidentally locked the door.. and i wasnt supposed to. so now i cant get in because there is no remote. and the key won't go in all the way im pretty much stumped. what can i do lol..

Well, try some WD40 in the lock. A small chip may be stuck and that may knock it loose.

but the key wont go in even in the passenger side and the trunk..

Ok, stupid question here. Are you using the right key? The door and ignition are a different key. My wife did that once. Left with my car with only the ignition key and locked the door.

well the window was open alittle bit so i used a long stick to open it.. but i stillwant to resolve this issue

ahh i guess im not, the old owner only gave me one key and i guess thats just for the ignition. i think seh said she lost it or something along with the remote and stuff.. would it be expensive to go to the dealership for this key?

I couldn't even tell you. I would suggest going on Ebay and get a keyless remote. Then go in the tech info area. There are instructions there on how to program the remote. But that is your problem. Wrong key.

thank you very much! i learned something new haha. i have been pretty much a honda guy in my car scene life. i love all cars just the "drivers" gives me reason to hate. looks like this is another community im gonna like going to.
