Default Hey everyone

Hey everyone just purchased a 2000 SSEi the other day..gorgeous car. 144K and is in good shape for the age+miles. A few foibles with it, and I was just curious about some solutions.

1. Drivers heated seat doesnt work, tried 3 different switches, light comes on for a few secs, shuts off, a "tick" is heard when the light goes on and off...are the elements toast or is this a wiring issue of sorts?

2. Could rust around the gap area throw an evap code? if so, what would be the best way to remove this rust?

3. There is a bulb burnt out on the radio display...is this fixable with just a replacement led?

It just matches it so well, that this car was the first I thought of.

The other issues I can't comment on as I am not sure off the top of my head

Welcome to the site.

I seem to remember the seat heaters are very fine wires, and are prone to breaking.

EVAP codes are a pain to track down. There'* a lot of hose to be inspected. Clean up the area best you can with a brush trying to not get any rust in the tank.

I think Sawgunner fixed his bulb, give him a yell.

Welcome!

As for your heated seat problem.

There is a way to fix it yourself if you want to save some cash.
