EXACTLY

We get about 33 MPG with ours, ahd have hit 37 at 57 MPH on the road

the best part is that Steph has already OK'd some intense goodies when we can afford it..... looking at stage 2 ( that SHOULD be good for NOW )

Chris...welcome. Wish we could have warned you about Steph...but at least Ryan is around to keep her in line :P

For the better seat option,(bolsters rock) take a look at the 97-99'*, while they had the same seat functions as the 92-96...the motor/trans aftermarket is much bigger and the engine comes standard with a few more horses while maintaining the same non WOT MPG'*.

If you plan on doing much of your own work.. the only downside to the 00+'* is the cramped room behind the engine. The 96-99'* have a lovely motor mount that requires you to jack up and remove a bolt to change a belt.

Welcome to BC!

It sounds to me like the SSEi is going to be right up your alley.

Welcome! I love the Ford Lightnings, they're my favorite Ford truck. It'* a shame they killed it off.

A SSEI would make my second pontiac. We used to have a 2000 Grand Am GT that I did apperance mods to. SD ram air hood, aluminum mustang fuel door, Magnaflow exhaust, removed the badges then replaced with reflective and chrome vinyl, overlays, wheels/tires, painted the inside, etc. that was a fun car till it fell apart and started puking oil from the motor and the trans at 85k miles. We ened up trading it for the wifes Explorer Sport Trac.

While I am a Ford Truck Fan, I look to other manufactures for cars. Fords cars for the most parts are just boring. We can however thank Ryan for turning me on to the Bonnie.
