Sorry!! Don't kill the messanger though. I was going to pick my tips up off the road, but some city worker came by and swept up all of the debris before I could...

Default Exhaust Help.

If anyone could answer this ASAP it would be appreciated. I am deciding to go with the Magnaflow. I was just wondering what kind of exhaust set up I would be needing. I know next to nothing about magnaflow... Also how much would a custom system cost?? I know I would need single in dual out, but I do not know pipe diameters, maybe 2.5"?? OK well thanks and I will keep you guys posted on how the situation works out.

P.*. - any other exhaust advice you can offer would also be appreciated...

Don't increase your pipe diameter. Don't replace any pipe that'* not damaged. We're mandrel bent, and free flowing. Just put a performance muffler and Cat on. Most go with the Magnaflow/Dynomax/Flowmaster Firebird/Camaro muffler.

I was asking just in case I had to get new pipes. Magnafow for the 3.8 v6 firebird/camaro has a dual out single in? Thanks!

Just posting an update(a little late)... Got my car back from the body shop, it looks awesome!! Whole new exhaust system, but they did not want to put in a magnaflow.... :( . Oh well, at least I will have all new pipes and tips to do that!! The total was $2,800 and I did not have to get a new tranny... a fuse that was connected to the o2 sensor blew and caused the cars computer to mess up and not run propery but that is all fixed now!! I'll put more pics up after I get some wax on her!!
