It'* slightly modified, has larger injectors and a chip. It'* been in the body shop for almost a year getting dents and dings repaired in prep for a respray. I've restored several muscle cars in the past and this one is among the quickest and a blast to drive. (love the a/c in the summer).

if i had one it would be like the grands doing 10-11seconds at the track. hard to find reliable info but i think they are in the 14 range stock which compared to other 80s cars is way fast and probably fun to drive but not my style. im the type that isnt happy unless it has at least three times the power and a bunch less weight.

I considered pulling the engine and doing a performance rebuild and a bigger turbo, but I didn't want to loose reliability. I still may change the cam to a little more aggressive roller and add methanol injection later.

i would be worried about breaking something expensive. my car has had a few different engines, and power levels, seems like every time you crank it up you find something else that cant take it.

I agree! I think the weak link is the 200R4 tranny. Most of my hot rod drag race days are few and far between, so if I do modify the car it won't be abused too much.
