Default Electrical Gremlins

Hello,
I have had a 2000 for the last year and it left me confused tonight. The cigarette socket has never worked. I removed it tonight to clean it up or replace it. Now my ABS, traction control, and parking break indicator lights on the dash stay lit. Car drives normally. what could cause this? I checked all the fuses under the hood and rear seat. Anyone ever have this problem? I disconnected the battery for a while hoping to reset something but no help. I feel like it has to be something I did when I was inspecting fuses.

any ideas appreciated,
THanks- shawn

Hi and welcome!
I can't help you out with the gremlins , however I'm sure someone will soon - you may wish to post this in the Everything Electrical section to get a quicker reply. There is also a 2000 or Newer section you could post in as well. I'm curious to see how this pans out in case my 2000 gets the same gremlin.
