Default tahoe speedometer

The speedometer pegs at about 35mph keeps going to max 110mph any thoughts are helpful

What yr Tahoe is it? The newer ones pre-07 had cluster Gage issues. The stepper motor would crap out.

It'* not my car, it'* my sons and I think it'* an '07 I was looking for some general info on where I should start looking Thanks for the help

if you have a live data scanner or know someone with one you can check speed and if it works normal, its very unlikely anything but an issue with the cluster.
