I have a 15 Yukon Denali and I will tell you with it being only at 50k this thing has issues almost monthly. While on a 3 hr trip yesterday I had a message come up saying service driver assist system. Not noticing any real issues I said I would wait until I got back home. So I got back home today and started doing some research. I am surprised how this issue is so common. It turns out that one of the seat vibrators wires broke (left side of seat). So instead of buying new ones I soldered them back together. At $50 a vibrator I decided to wait to get new ones when my fix fails.

For this being my first truck I have regretted almost every moment. The only moment I enjoy is pushing the 6.2L motor.

So I'm guessing it has had other issues besides the vibrators . . . ?

Oh yes it has. Here'* a list of what I remember:

Absorber leaking (@40k)
Tires wearing uneven (@19k & 35k)
Transmission fixed x2 (19k & 40k)
Adaptive cruise "front camera (33k)
Driver door misaligned causing mirror to whistle at interstate speeds (19k)
Bluetooth module (19k)
Wireless charger (40k)
Battery (25k)
Driver assist (50k)

If I didn't have a bumper to bumper warranty I would of gotten rid of it already.

50,000 in ~3 years is about 70 miles per day 5 days per week. Definitely not unreasonable unless it is all washboard and potholes or similar or being used for deliveries all day long.

Now curiosity gets me: We have another poster here that has a 2015 Yukon Denali that has condensation in the headlight assemblies and excessive frame rust. Does yours have either of these going on?

I have been looking at his thread. I am glad I do not have those issues. I bought mine in Oklahoma and the winters are covered in salt for at least a month.

The issue he is having is a fail on GMC or if the truck had a previous issue before hitting or on the lot with needing to change the chassis due to excessive noise (more common in the 15). I feel for him because it is definitely an issue that needs to be fixed.

Personally I would trade the truck in to GMC for another one "USED". If they give him less for the rust then that will prove that GMC sees it as a problem which needs to be fixed. It would help his case if he ends up taking it to court.

Between the two of you, I think you have enough good parts for 1.25 good 2015 Yukon Denalis.
