Chevy looked at the mirror and found the second mirror at fault. They took one out of a working vehicle and swapped the two. Mine did not work, and the one from the other vehicle worked in my vehicle. I called the ebay site where i purchased and they have another one in the mail. Lets hope this works.

If nothing changes you are going to need a wiring diagram to try to figure out which wire(*) to chase down/test.

I bet the old mirrors you tried to use had the cold solder joints for the harness go bad, looks easy to fix with a solder gun, a lil solder, and some flux...
