Default Please help 14 bolt semi float

Ok I need help my dad had a 14 bolt semi float six lug rear end and his Chevy blazer. It got hit by a tree so we had no use for it so we put the rear end in my 2002 Silverado in April and we put all new pinion bearing, races, pilot bearing and the whole 9 yard and re did everything, it made a howl, growl noise ONLY UNDER LOAD so I read everywhere it was the pinion bearing so last night I put new pinion bearing races and crush sleeve in and set the preload to 28ft lbs and it still made the noise so I replaced the pilot bearing tonight and STILL the same noise, what could it be? I’m so tired of this annoying noise someone please help me out!
