Default Misfire, shaking, multiple codes!

Hello,

I have a 2009 Cadillac Escalade ESV, with a 6.2L that'* having some problems. The issues I'm experiencing are rough idle, poor acceleration and a pungent smell from the exhaust. So far, I've pulled all of the plugs and 5 of the 8 are wet with fuel. While the plugs were out, I did a compression test. 7 of the 8 were great while number 7 cylinder has 0 psi for compression. With the check engine light on, I scanned it to find 4 codes (P0300, P0420, P0455 and P0451.) In regards to the "pungent smell from exhaust", it does have a 'rotten eggs' smell to it which leads me to believe that it has a bad catalytic converter. Which, in my experience, it sounds like I have multiple fouled plugs due to the bad cat.

Before I go replacing this motor, I thought I'd jump on here and ask is there something that I need to look for with these 6.2L'*? The 6.2L is new to me. I'd appreciate knowing your thoughts. Thank you.

How many miles on it?

How many miles have you owned it?

How many miles on the current spark plugs?

How many miles did it give you trouble before you started working on it.

What were the pressures of all 8 cylinders?

P0300 - Multiple misfire
P0420 - Low catalyst efficiency
P0451 - Evap sensor bad range/performance

P0455 - Evap leak

No other codes?

Rotten eggs usually equals bad cat. Let'* save that for later.

Probably the other way around.

It'* just an engine, pretty basic for that matter. It doesn't even have AFM. It does have VVT. You're not getting a code for that, but it could still be a factor. I wouldn't jump straight to replacing it right away, but the 0PSI on 7 does start me thinking of overhauling or replacing.

Throw a good used engine in it and hope for the best. There'* no big issues to consider.

YMM_TNT'* last login was April 1, I bet they are not coming back. Never even responded to our nearly-immediate questions etc.
