i have tried nearly everything on this truck. keyless entry has not worked for years.

Have you verified the antenna is receiving? What exactly have you checked?

I have been told that this year model is the only year that has receivers in the door panel switches. they are very expensive, so I would like to be sure they are the problem before I purchase them.
