... finish post before I finished typing..

Anyways, I had to replace the fuel sender unit on my 4 door 98 jimmy. During the tank removal process the vent valve located at the front of the tank snapped off where the rubber hose connects. How do I get the old vent valve out? Does it unscrew or pop out? there really isnt anywhere to get a hold on the thing.

I had to replace a faulty fuel pump. Car starts and runs fine now, but I have a leak from the vent valve. Seems my attempt to fix the broken stem on the vent valve didn't work so I like to replace it.
