I can be an extremely difficult customer when I need to be. The ridiculous comment was extremely polite, simply stated a fact. There was no need for the initial comment regarding the link to my website.
It'* not the car wash causing the rust, it'* a known GM issue having to do with the defective wax coating causing all the frames to rust. This was a warranty issue, so it was at no cost to me.
I never told the dealership I was going to sue them prior to actually serving them the court paperwork. That was 4+ months after the issue, so that didn't have anything to do with this. I filed MULTIPLE complaints with GM, talked to a variety of people and they simply say that they stand behind the dealerships assessment of the situation. That goes to show you that GM doesn't give a care in the world to how their dealerships treat people. If you could understand the issues in the past 2+ years with 4 different GM vehicles, you'd understand my pain and frustration, and wouldn't say I'm handling this incorrectly. I've been polite and accepting and understanding, and enough is enough. I'm not going to be polite or kind to anyone who doesn't reserve it. I'll take vinegar all day long, no way around it. So I didn't pursue legal action immediately, I took the proper steps. There are no lawyers that handle this in my area. The only one that even had anything intelligent to say is a lemon law attorney and he was of no real help. I could of course hire him for $450/hr (which no attorney in the world is worth) to handle on my behalf. He was 160 miles away, each way so there would be about $5K in charges before even going to court, what a joke! So I took this to conciliation court myself which is exactly what that type of court is. The court date is in a little over a week. I have a rock-solid case, not only negligence on behalf of the dealership, but damage to property against the company the dealership subbed out the work to.
It'* not my responsibility to contact and deal with the morons who did the crap job, I brought it to GM, and it'* their responsibility to take care of the problem. After a week of continually being ignored by the dealership, after sending multiple pictures of the damages that were caused while the vehicle was in their possession, they simply said they cannot help me and go back to the place it was purchased from. I was entirely polite and respectful the ENTIRE time, not once did I threaten to sue or anything of the like, so their response caused me to file complaints with the BBB, Attorney General'* office and GM. GM simply doesn't care and if I have to pursue legal action against them, I will do so. I'm not going to let anyone get away with this nonsense, it'* beyond unacceptable!
And to top off this frame nonsense, I've had the headlights replaced 2X on this vehicle in the past 18 months, and now that it'* winter here, the continual warming up/cooling down is causing the headlights to leak moisture well beyond the scope of what is normal. They are leaking so bad that as you can see on the one side, it has again caused water stained streaks on the inside. I know headlights will have some condensation, but to the point that it causes obscene streaking from excessive leaking is not right. The pictures do not show all leaking that is happening, it can't fully capture it, so what you see may not look bad, it'* worse in person. It'* unacceptable as this has happened on our '14 ATS, '16 CTS and this '15 Yukon. I've submitted picture after picture to GM, they sit back and will do nothing to rectify this situation. It'* asinine and GM needs to be held accountable for making defective products!
Here are pics after sitting in the garage overnight. How is it that every light that they've put in here is defective? Is anyone else having or know of others having this continual problem with every newer GM vehicle? I just don't get it. I've never had this problem with my other 3X GM vehicles, so it'* obviously something in the newer ones as it'* an issue on our CTS as well. And GM says that it'* ok, that it should have streaking on the interior of the headlamp. I'm not sure how that can be true, seems like they are just lying to get out of replacing the lights.
There is more water stains that the camera can't capture to the right of the circled area, in the carbon fiber'ish area.
from the moisture sitting on the bottom it has stained the interior of the light.
If it is supposed to allow moisture in then there would be weep holes in the bottom for it to get back out again. Otherwise it should be sealed and not allow moisture in. Pretty much goes for any exterior part.

There is supposed to be some moisture I understand, that is completely normal especially with where we live and the drastic fluctuations in our climate. There are vents on the lights, but obviously they don't work properly. The passenger side has had 2X defective lights, I'm now on the 3rd defective drivers side light. The light should have some moisture, then the heat from the bulbs should burn most of it out. It shouldn't have so much that it'* streaking and staining the inside of the headlamp assembly.

I agree. What little moisture gets in should evaporate into the air that is inside then work its way out through pressure change due to heat/cold cycles. It should never be visible droplets. Rain and streaks on the inside is something that they should be able to show you in the headlight assemblies of many other similar vehicles on the lot if it is normal.
Do you know that they replaced the plastic headlight assemblies for sure? Is there a chance that they attempted repairs on the original units?

They were replaced with brand-new ones, i did see the replacement ones and there would be no way to eliminate all the staining and such by attempting to separate the lens from the housing. Can't imagine they'd have the knowledge or capability to do such work. I made that same statement, please bring me out to another vehicle similar or any for that matter and show me where they are water stains on the interior of the headlights. It'* a consistent problem on every newer GM vehicle we have, and I don't get it. I filed another complaint with GM today asking for a person above the senior person that dealt with it last time. So we'll c what they have to say.
Keep taking it back for the headlights. Having them changed out once, and then just complaining about it verbally thereafter won't accomplish anything. Warranty centers need to see the physical issue keep coming back. Not just phone calls. So, if they replaced it a 2nd time and it continues to do, keep taking it back and demand that they be replaced. And another thing to remember. Tactful bitching goes a long ways.
If all you complain about is that they head lights are getting moisture in them, that won't go far. But if you raise your tone just a tad and start saying power words like. NOT SAFE, UNSAFE,"if the bulbs get wet, they will explode and I will have reduced visibility", "I will be UNSAFE for other drivers because they can't see me". I'm sure you get the point.

Trust me, I plan to. The only problem is, the dealer that last replaced them is the one I'm suing for damaging my vehicle, and the other one that replaced them the 1st time I won't due business with ever again because they said after they were replaced that it'* normal to have that kind of moisture in them. Those are the only 2 in our area unfortunately, so I have to go elsewhere, and that'* a minimum of 150mi round trip to have it done. So I'm going to see what GM says when they respond to my complaint. Unfortunately we just don't have the selection of dealerships that are able to competently diagnose and repair vehicles where we live. I did bring up the bulb issue, especially since I have aftermarket ones in them that are $250 retail. But I'll keep at them. Thanks for the input.
