Anyone having any issues getting a truck that has been in an accident and air bags deployed repaired? My son has a 2013 GMC Sierra 2500HD Duramax that he hit a deer with, it has been at the body shop for 6 months now, GM claiming they have no air bags and do not know when they will get them, insurance will not total the truck so he can get money. GM has an agent that gives him updates but only updates are they have no update. GM will not give him a rental unless he pays out of his pocket and will reimburse him when his is repaired and no one knows when that will be. Does anyone know a number or GM representative that he could call to get some info or action?

Also, it is surprising to me that GM isn't immediately saying [no] to the notion GM paying for a rental car for a 10+ year old pickup. It sounds like you're already talking to their most generous people.
