GM terrible customer service
This is on a 2014 Silverado, is it bad on both AM & FM, is this in town or are you at a distance away from stations? Wonder if it could be settings/local or antenna?

another angry venter. he is going to have a bad wake up when he gets a ford that leaves him stranded on the side of the road or a dodge thats a thousand dollar repair bill every time you take it in. a radio issue doesnt seem so bad
GM is main issue. What other details would you need, radio won't pick up stations 60 miles away. 2003 truck picked up stations over 100 miles out. Yes I'm an angry venter, when I buy a$40,000 truck the radio should work and GM should back their products.
did you take it to one dealer who said thats just how it is? did you call the customer service number and have them investigate? having one bad dealer really doesnt surprise me. they didnt even look at the truck?
Dealer is kind of stuck in the middle. They know there'* an issue, but fix would be through GM. I've talked to GM several times, and they admit other trucks are having the same issue, but still spit out same predetermined response "sorry, but radio works as designed".
Something is not adding up. Gm says there is a known issue, put they also said its working as designed. They wouldn't say that if there is a known issue. Im curious what the last dealer has done? As for known problems, I don't see much of anything for reception problems. Id get another dealers opinion.
Problem is, not all radio'* are built the same. Some are more sensitive than others. You probably experienced this. Which is normal.
Our company has 30 some work trucks, 90% of them are VIN sequenced. Which means, they came off the assembly line in sequence. Not one single one of them drives, works, or rides like each other. This includes the AM/FM radios etc.
