I have the same Actron...bought it mainly to read ABS codes, but it doesn't give any ABS data......while it does read some PCM data(and you can plot it), it doesn't have a lot of data, especially, nothing involving transmission data, which is surprising since that is PCM data....

As for the GM MDI, it is useless without the Global software....you have to be attached to your PC by hardwire or by Wi Fi....

It definitely has its limitations, but it was the most capable out there for the price. Show me a scanner that will read B, C and U codes for under $200 and I would buy it in a heartbeat.
