Default courtesy interior lamps draining battery,, where??

ok 1988 C1500 pickup. replaced burnt interior courtesy lamps fuse. was missing gone not there at all. a PO had removed it for unknown reasons.

drains battery til totalyl stone dead over night.. no lightd on inside truck though anywhere. and HL switch rotated to middle range of rotation so as to not engage the dome lamp and courtesy lamps etc.

cant find the reason cause culprit here that is causing battery drain dead.

and there is no lamp in glove box

any ideas? just a basic bare bones L03 700r4 C1500 pickup(2wd of course)

Did it drain the battery before you replaced the missing bulb?

Have you tried removing fuses until there is no more phantom draw?
