Default Best Upgrades for More Power and Reliability on an L5P Duramax?

Hello everyone.

I’ve been researching ways to improve towing power, throttle response, and overall drivability on my L5P Duramax without sacrificing reliability. There are so many options available, from intake systems and exhaust upgrades to tuning and transmission improvements, that it’* hard to know what actually makes a noticeable difference.

I’m especially interested in hearing real-world experiences from owners who have already tried different setups. While searching online, I came across several discussions about L5P performance mods and wanted to ask which upgrades gave you the best balance of horsepower, fuel economy, and long-term durability.

What combinations would you recommend for a daily-driven truck?
