Default Alternator Swap V6 4.3

I am using a Chevrolet S10 Chassis with a 4.3 throttle body V6 for a hot rod Project (Cab Over Engine (COE) project).

I need to move the alternator from the drivers side as it will be in the way of my gas pedal in my hotrod application.

Is there an alternator (type, make, year, style) that I can install in the air-conditioning that will be a drop and bolt in? I also have the Smog mounting area available too. The air-conditioner hole span is approximately 5 3/4" wide.

I am hoping that someone has information as to a drop in alternator into the air-conditioning mounting bracket which will really help my situation. I have tried salvage yards for information to no avail.

I currently have a dummy pulley in the air-conditioning spot that is removable.

Get both brackets off a newer 1996+ Vortec. The brackets mount the alternator on the other side.

Than you for the advice. Very much appreciated. I would like to use the existing mounting bracket that is in place.
